Absolutely not.....we need stability and Warne's will not rest and set the bar high.

He needs help but intelligent enough to ask for it... he's not a manager but with the honeymoon period he's been given it's obvious there is love in the camp.

And in league one - not every mistake will be punished.

My only gripe is can he take us to the next level of football that the championship needs....we all know that now don't we - someone who has seen and understands "the promised land" would've been better.....

You get a "guide".....to show you the way - but they have to have been to the destination first.....Warnsey hasn't...

It's a real shame people are debating this.

I can safely predict that "Tiger" Warnes will become the longest serving manager in the history of this great football club. Anyone who doubts this need look no further than the fact that in the capacity of caretaker manager alone Warnes has already lasted longer than the likes of Kenny Jackett, Alan Stubbs, Neil Redfearn, Eric Black, Darren Patterson, Andy Liddell, Steve Thornber, Dave Cusack, John Breckin and is close on the heels of the legendary Neal Warnock.

    I agree flourbasher.

One thing is for sure is he will be starting with a clean slate in August (if he wasn't he wouldn't have been given the job with his record so far). To be sacked by Christmas he would have to be as bad as AS and nobody can be that bad.

Get a grip, what the f**k is the matter with you all, can't wait for failure can you, just about encouraging it in fact.

It will depend on results, expectations and reality.

Why would anyone hope for Warne to be sacked?

Threads like this belong on the other board.

    Unbelievable.
