    Average away followings in championship

A table where were not bottom. We would have been higher if it weren't for the our position and poor form.

Still good that we've averaged over a 1000.

Reading the feed, one weeds fan isn't happy with our showing compared to dingles. Maybe the form of each team might have had a factor!

Yes we normally have a good following(for a small club) , I've missed a few this season just because I can't be bothered with the same game plan every time and can imagine others have done same.
I'll be a reading though and maybe Preston if I fancy a few nights in Blackpool

I always laugh at the diehards who claim they go to every away game not because they enjoy it but to "support the club"!!! Oh, yes. I also remember back in the day when Millers 05 asked fans NOT to go on their weekend jaunt to Morecambe but donate the money to the club. Thw howls of outrage on MM were something to behold.

Not won away game all season and loads boycotted Wednesday and Leeds because of the prices thats an awesome average from us tbf. We must have one of the best if not the best away support in the country between similar size clubs to ourselves.

Monty the miserable! I like it. The problem I have with this crap about away support - "one of the best if not the best" - is that I don't know what it means, or is supposed to mean, or what millers88 and others think it means?
Clearly, as people keep banging on about it they must presume or assume some kind of moral superiority to the fans of clubs with good away support. Personally, I think that's clearly nonsense. The idea that Rotherham people or Rotherham fans are in any way superior to those of Stevenage, Burton, Barnsley, Bury, Oldham or wherever is simply stupid. People go to games home or away becasue they want to. That's all there is to it. If you believe otherwise you're dafter or more deluded than even I think you are - and that would be difficult.

There's certainly nothing like going to watch your team away from home, with many of your fellow Rotherhamites, the team doing well, and every one of those fans feeling together as one, a great feeling, and after reading the above from you MTM, i've got real doubts that you're actually a fan at all.....just saying.

I'm not a fan in the sense that you suggest, that's true. I've been at away games quite close to South Yorks with 350. Yet you bravehearts can muster 10 times that number for Newcastle or Blackpool. Wonder why? Rotherhamites!!! You really are a pathetic d*ckbrain.

Nice one MTM, "I'm not a fan", that'll do me.
