    Remembering Neil Armstrong

The first man on the moon.

    https://youtu.be/6fn2lXKzddg

Was speaking about this last night as he was my hero.

He was indeed an Aeronautical Engineer same degree as my loon.
But he was also a top test pilot . Imagine that testing planes back in the day squeaky bum time i think .

Some say the moon landing wasn't possible at that time during the 60s of experimentation.

I'm sure Buzz Auldrun punched a reporter who questioned it. Ouch.

Armstrong had some Scottish blood in him he even came to Scotland after that amazing day to say hello think that visit was in the borders when the whole town came out to see him.

Anyone remember the moon landing or am i the only old basa on here.

I thought this thread was about him dying, then I remembered he's been dead for a while.

Edit, just checked, he died in August 2012. I was on my honeymoon then. Probably why I didn't find out at the time

Aye but Aldo NASA will be at least a decade ahead of us in technology..
I'd be very surprised if they weren't..

But good point all the same.
have to say Aldrin did look guilty in that video.

Even if NASA were well ahead in technology, it's still some leap to suggest they were playing Ghostbusters on the speccy in the 60s
