Knowing our club we'll not offer JCH a new contract while the potential is still there and he'll bang 25 goals for another league 1 club and then they sell him for 5 million while we sign Richard Wood and Stephen Kelly to a new contract who aren't worth a tuppence.

Give him another 12 months, plus a year's option, what's the problem?

"needs to be back to his best?" - I cant recall what his best looks like - overrated ,arrogant ,lazy all attributes we DONT want here former record signing or not .However he should fit in OK with the other characters in the team - imagine him laying alongside Blackclock ......centre backs dream !

Agree with that, i'm sure he'd like to prove himself, i cannot see him trying to be greedy asking for a long contract....

Got to give him 12 months plus option to pay us back for treatment he's had....otherwise - what a pointless exercise it's been.....

Stop messing about and just get the job done ffs, he's been injured and just coming back, give him a chance.

Adeyemi (yes I like him and would still offer him a deal) is injury prone but Warney doesn't have an issue with that

It's pay back time for JCH, he has to give back what Millers have put in, 12 months contract plus for me,

Rather have Jono here than the mess we had last season trying to get strikers in IF he applies it and works hard he will bag a shed full next season .On the flip side i can see why Rotherham are waiting a bit. Lets see if he wants it enough to get that extra year. Makes sense to me

Reading his twitter regularly it appears to me that he is really up for it and is chomping at the bit, got to be worth a shot.
