Out of Contract Players

Wolves have several players with expiring contracts. The following will see contracts end this summer, but they do have club options for another year:
Price
Saville
Silvio
The following two have expiring contracts with no club or player options:
Williamson
Henry

Who would you keep and who would you let go? Personally, I'd let all five leave. Henry was mediocre last season and didn't impress with Bolton either as he doesn't start for them on a regular basis. Williamson and Silvio are attractive in the sense that they are expierenced defenders. But they can't stay healthy. Saville has shown me very little in his two seasons with us. I don't dislike Price, but he can't find consistent time with us. No manager we've had the past few seasons has thought that highly of him as he never established himself since we were promoted back to the Championship.

Wish more players were departing as we could use another major influx of signings (the right ones this time). But I think we will sign a few players. Lambert expressed his desire to have a smaller squad at Wolves so if he is retained, I only see 3-4 signings plus many players going out on loan again.

Both Silvio and Williamson offer experience and are a class above those that play in the same position, but injuries have proved to be their problem. Out of the two i'd probably keep Williamson, but again it depends on an injury free summer.

Price, Saville and James Henry need to go and so do a few more. Wolves need to rebuild and need to start signing players that can lift the side into the higher reaches of the championship.

Hopefully with the money they get for Costa they will do just that. Get in some decent buys this time and hit the reset buttom.
