    Godstone Road.

    For the culture and diversity.

Also used to have a massive conker tree at the top of it. Got some beauties off it back in the day.

Didn't think you were old enough to remember " sas shops. " Casper ! I have fond memories of Domine Lane, I used to work on a carpet remnant stall on the outdoor market, Thurs after school and all day Saturday, the gaffer used to let me off at 14.55 pm on Saturday as long as I was back at 16.55 to load the stuff back in his car, a massive Buick or Dodge , wouldn't believe how much stuff he could jam in

I`m sure there`s a veiled compliment in there somewhere Lincs although my girlfriend always say`s I look ten years younger than I really am.
Domine Lane....is that you Lincs left hand side holding hands with the older chap...

I also remember the Public Baths and the old Post Office but don`t tell anyone...

Wow Casper, I worked exactly opposite the one on the right hand side, I once put all the bunting lights out, idling away with an old yard-stick for some unknown reason I poked it into an empty light fitting, it's a good job the stick only had brass on the ends or I doubt I would have been telling the story now. Middle of winter and no lights in half the market.
