Seems like he's just turned out to be a bit of a snowflake - was pretty keen to get after opponents in a completely unmerciful and spiteful fashion during an election campaign in which he also deliberately chose to go to war with the media (with a few exceptions) but now can't take it when it comes back round again - as it always does does.

Totally agree. What goes around comes around...sadly not often enough.

    Nail on the head.

Will be interesting if he comes out of it as a better president (ie learns from his mistakes), or he denies all. I don't know how the USA system works, if he's removed from office would there be a new election, or would another republican take up the reigns?

Unfortunately Adi, I believe the current Vice President - Mike Pence - will take over in the event of Trump's seemingly inevitable eventual impeachment or resignation.
He may look more normal but is verging on being a fundamentalist Christian with a whole raft of bizarre views. Difficult times.

Not sure the Democrats would want Trump or Pence out before the elections due either next year or the year after. Presumably after those elections they will control both Houses. Then the Presidency will be theirs after that; all things being equal!

They can do an awful lot of damage in that time though KCG...and not solely to the U.S.

They haven't been able to get much through yet and hopefully any wars will be vetoed!

Donald trump hasn't done anything wrong though has he.. He's a victim of a very sad campaign sadly. If I was trump I'd sue the backside off the press.

Hasn't done anything wrong...really? 'Live by the sword'...as they say. Doubt he'll actually be impeached...imagine he'll resign - probably on health grounds - before then.
