Taken from one of their forums......

.......Love how they are acting like it would be a bad move for him. News flash lads - we are now a huge step up from Derby f*ckin County. if we want your best players and can afford them they will come. Players want to play in the Premier League, not bottle promotion year on year......

Ha ha you've gotta laugh at em really, one lucky promotion and all of a sudden they think they're a big club, above us in league position only nothing else, your in the premier league now so start acting like a premier league club and spend some of your winnings instead of fannying around with derogatory loan fees, your at the big boys table now so start acting like them, if you want ince best come back with a bid over £10m

They are a small club who just happen to hit a purple patch and flike promotion ala Portsmouth, ask their fans about that time they thought they were billy big balls hudders fans. Them, Bournemouth, burnley etc will go back to their natural level in time just like blackpool, bolton, pompey etc.

If i was ince with derbys training facilities, stadium, a more naturally stronger finacial position, fanbase etc etc etc id be staying tbere rather than sign for a one hit wonder club. Come back in 15 years when ya back where you belong,, supporting man ure etc.

I would sell Ince for the right price 10 milion

On the actual player I don't think he fits our style .I'm not convinced he's a wide player goes missing for much of the game.
I didn't like how he blamed everyone else, but himself at times .

I think his best position is a free role down the middle of the park , but for us to get out of this division we need battlers all over the pitch ,a battler he is not!

Dare I say Premier League would be a step to far for him

Out of Ince and Hughes I'd prefer to keep Hughes

Of those clubs you mention only Bournemouth are a small club. Huddersfield have a great pedigree and so do Burnley. They are proper footballing towns, like Derby, only with a smaller fan base to call on. The same is true of Bolton and Portsmouth too have a great history. That's part of the problem with Derby I think. We believe we're entitled to more than we've proved capable of because of the achievements of 40-45 years ago. Face up to it, Huddersfield are in the top flight because they did better than the rest, including us. They are also the biggest town in the UK so have a chance of staying there and good luck to them.

Completely agree with eddy about Ince although I think we'd do well to get £10m.

I struggle to believe that people want to get rid of one of our more successful flair players, but then may be we don't appreciate him - goes missing in games, FFS he is an attacking player who can create a chance or a goal out of nothing, 15 goals last season in an underperforming team, a genuinely exciting player who when on his game is worth the cost of going to see the game!

There are others I'd want to see the back of before Ince, be surprised if he goes to Huddersfield by his own choice, can only see the coming straight back down.
Much as i like Hughes, his contribution has been of little consequence this season - if he'd scored 10 goals then maybe, but £7 - £10 mill for Hughes would be the better sale!

Swales You probably hit the nail on the head there by saying ( why he's.on his game ) I spntt a fortune last season going to 42 league games and he played well 8 times and OK in maybe another 6 Rowett will have watched videos of everyone of those games and decided he's not for him Yes when on form he's good but we will not get promoted carrying passingers not with teams in this division now I would have snapped Hudders hands of at £7million

If we can push them for a bit more then it could very well be a worthwhile sale, purely so that we can use it elsewhere. Don't have a problem with him and would be happy to keep him, but if we could get 2 other quality players in for his price then it would be worthwhile. My only criticism is that I think he struggles against the better teams, so as has been mentioned before the prem might be a bit too far a step for him.

I'm with you on this one. For "gone missing" read Derby playing crap and not passing and supporting attack.

I agree, we do seem not to value players who run up and down the pitch like maniacs for 90 mins, and yes you do need battlers , but you also need creative players and expecting a creative flair player to do it all the time and when he is not given the service or players dont run into postions he can pass to, then WTF do we expect?

15 goals and 8 assists is a good return from a player that is supposed to have only played well in less the half the games this season!
