He may get a goal at Colchester as we brush them aside easily in the first half before getting knocked out 4-2 in the second.

Well Bongo, you cannot say "maybe I was right" after just one game!

He could have had a brace maybe even a hat- trick but where was he in the 2nd half? we have seen this before not only from him but the whole team, are they not capable of playing 90 mins? have we been cought out by buying too many senior players?

It was a thunderous first half and maybe had green placed his header in the net, we may have grabbed all 3 points. It was the best 10 minutes I have seen from Mr Villa for many a year but he seemed to run out of steam far to quick for my liking but then again It was only the first game and the team will become fitter, what we have got to learn IF we are to be taken seriously as promotion contenders is to be more ruthless in front of goal, if we start to get that 2nd goal after going 1-0 up we need to be able to continue and not become complacent. This is where the older heads need take a lead including gabby!!

The mail tonight says Mr Villa could end up with 20 to 25 goals this season, I very much doubt this but would love to be proven wrong.

Its obvious Dion Dublin needs to seriously reduce his intake of Wray & Nephew White Over-proof Rum

I can't see him scoring that amount either Dave but he's surly worth his spot in the 1st 11. He's probably short of match fitness but either way he will be an important player this season.

Well he did score and secured us a point and it wasn't again the blues so fair play to him.
As we have all stated before he is playing for a contract now so maybe just maybe we will see a different gabby?

8 or 9 goals may be?

Well if scores against Cardiff I may have to relook at my guess but me thinks that's it for about 5 games!
