Don't know why he would play for City full stop. He is a rank Manure fan. It would be like me being chased to play for the Vile. I would tell them to stuff it as there aint enough money in the world would persuade me to wear that shirt.![]()

I think he left UTD because of a lack of games under the Dutch guy at that time....
He certainly would not be a shoe in at city......here, he is almost guaranteed to start...usually...if he is injury free....so he may indeed have a decision to make about his future.
Or it could just be about money!!
We're all looking at it from a supporters perspective, look at it from a players view. Let's say you were at a mid-sized Spanish club with no loyalty or ties attached to that club. You always started in their first 11 and were one of their best players. And then Real Madrid or Barcelona come in for you and can more than double your wages with the option of winning the league and the Champions League...What would you do?
You can't blame Evans, I think he's been really professional about it all actually. There's no doubt he wants to go, if he does then Man City need to pay what he's worth for him though for us to go out and buy a replacement.
To be honest, I just wish we'd come to a decision. All this 'faffing' about isn't helpful to anybody. We need to say to City, this is what we want, no more no less. Take it or leave it and let that be the end to the matter. We need to know as the outcome will decide what we do in the transfer market. The longer it goes on for, the more difficult it will become for us.
Jonny has gone on record as saying that he wants to play in La Liga before his career ends, he's 29 now with 2 years left on his contract. If he signs a better contract with us, or goes to Man S*ity then he will be adding up to 3 years on to that.
If I was him I would run down his West Brom contract & follow his dream while still young enough to get into one of the better teams over there.
