    25 man squad

Here it is. Notice all the players we were told would have no future at the club and be mercilessly left out if they didn't find new clubs are still there, e.g. Colback. We ended up so short on numbers that we needed to include them all!

Going to be interesting how those that were told they have no future here but are no in the squad react.

I'm most concerned about Gayle, he apparently has a confidence problem already. The fact we were prepared to sell might really mess with his head.

Hopefully he'll decide to show the club why it would of been wrong and go on a real scoring purple patch.

Plus, when he plays for us, he'll get massive support from the stands which will hopefully give him a boost.

Thing is I don't think we were gonna sell him.

Transfer deadline day I saw video of him turning up at the training ground smiling and looking relaxed. Then saw video of him leaving to go play golf and was laughing and chilled. It didn't seem that he was preparing to shoot off to the airport, bound for West London for a medical.

    Hopefully you're right.

My worry is that if his confidence issues are there and he doesn't score will he get hte doubt in his mind "oh i'll be sold in January" sending him into a spiral of self-confidence destruction.

What we have to remember is, a lot of what gets bandied about is media hype and naturally occurring rumours that turn into Chinese whispers, with some of the many rumours actually holding a little bit of water whilst others dry up pretty quickly.

We'll soon know what the truth of any issue is by seeing it on the pitch, as a unit, because that's ultimately where you start to see where the cracks are in terms of player body languages.
