    Billericay Town-ambitious or what ?

Those of you who read my report on their home game last Saturday will know I was impressed by what I saw both on and off the pitch. I don't want to keep banging on about this little ambitious club , but on the BBC website today , co incidentally there is a big article about the owners big plans to develop this football club. That includes reaching the football league in five years and the Premier League by 2027. No one thought a club like Wimbledon would achieve what they eventually did and I suppose it helps if you have financial backing. I for one will be more than interested to see how they progress over the next few years and provided they go about it the right way it may just happen.

Did you catch their game with Didcot today on the red button or I player? Another hatful of goals- 5 more today which makes 16 in 3 games. One or two well taken ones today as well. I hope they go a long way in the FA Cup.

That's never going to happen outside of a fairy tale; only the super-wealthy, big city clubs like Burnley get to play there
