    Transfer window reflections...

Well, in my opinion it has been as good as I can remember. Indeed, we will all await the performances of a number of the new boys, but on paper it is a decent and positive result - and I must say somewhat unexpected!
    Congratulations guys.
I can't wait to see team selection and particularly how the newbies do.

Just hope they are given the freedom to express themselves.

I am very pleased with it, we have strengthened the team with quality without going over budget. My only criticism is we didn't sign a new striker, but that would only happened if we had sold Evans and Chadli.
I hope Pulis and Chadli can settle their differences because Chadli is a player who can do a lot of damage.
Chadli, Burke and Phillips are players who can provide the spark we have been missing.

I agree '55', Chadli is a quality player who appeared to 'lose his way' after his injury last season. Let's hope he can find the early season form of last year and if he does we will be the beneficiaries. As to the transfer market, we now appear to have a squad more than capable of at least a top half finish, perhaps even better. However, let's not get ahead of ourselves and concentrate on getting three points tomorrow.

To think we could start off with Evans and Dawson as centre backs and have the luxury of Hegazi and MacCauley sitting on the bench. If Nyom got hurt or a booking that made him vulnerable to being sent off we can whip him off and put Dawson right back and bring on another quality centre back. The same with Gibbs, we can slot Brunt back at left back. If Phillips aint up to speed at any time you replace with Burke etc etc. At long last we seemingly have quality players on the pitch and on the bench at the same time. Lets just hope the new guys settle in and start performing well from the off.

I think TP will go Dawson at right back, Nyom at left back with Evans & Hegazi in the middle. Rondon will be rested after his jaunt to South America so it will be Rodriguez up front with Barry, Livermore, Phillips Greg (ain't grasped his name yet) and Brunt in midfield.
Burke, Gibbs, McClean, Rondon, Myhill, Morrison, McAuley on the bench.
I feel these new signings will see Chadli squeezed out and on his bike in December.
    Oh! and Foster in goal.
