    FA Cup

It's the time of year when the little clubs start to dream about drawing a league club in the first round proper of the FA Cup. The 4th qualifying round takes place today and those little clubs see the carrot of a money spinning tie in the next round.

I'm off to Slough today to watch my local club, Folkestone Invicta, try to grab that slot in the next round. Even a win today is worth £12,500 which is a lifeline to clubs like ours. We're the underdogs today but this is the FA Cup and as you know, anything can happen. Come on you Seasiders!

Ah well, all over for another year. Lost to an early goal but didn't disgrace ourselves. Down to ten men for last 15 minutes but still pushed Slough all the way. Never mind, didn't want to travel to Gateshead or Hartlepool for next round anyway!

    Stourbridge 0-5 Macclesfield.

A poor performance against a very good Macc side who are top of the Conference,we were totally outclassed today.

Still enjoyed watching players playing with passion rather than that overpaid shower I watched at the Amex a few weeks ago

Saw Kidderminster Harriers today in the cup. Played some nice football. Won 2-0 which flattered Chester. 4-would have been more deserved

Good to see Hereford back in the First Round proper. Been through some rough times of late. Ronnie Radford's goal v. Newcastle will always live long in the annals of the FA Cup.
