Tone likes Nyom. The headless chicken will get the gig.

So worrying that Nyom is our only probable cover at right back. Great crowd pleaser and bags of enthusiasm, but a defender he is NOT.

At least it’s not crucial ligament damage which would have ruled him out for eight or nine months, so we must be grateful for that. TP will probably play an extra defensive midfielder to give cover to Nyom!

He may go 3 centre backs with Nyom & Gibbs wide. Add 3 defensive midfielders plus Rodriguez & Rondon.
Ideally he would have one defensive midfielder with that back five (Yacob) plus the Pole pushing on more and another attacking type plus 2 strikers.
    Ideally.

Evans might not be fit, which means we would only have two centre backs available in Hegazi and McCauley. Playing a high line with those two would be suicide.

To be fair to Nyom, he has made a lot of his mistakes at left back where he has been filling in for 18 months. Now he has a run of games at RB so let's see what he can do. I'm quite happy we have two pacey full backs now, it could be a good outlet for us.
