Typical of the man. Claiming to be the good guy when the truth is that the reveal will happen UNLESS he stops it.......... I fear for the world with this man's hand on the nuke button.

Excellent...but then again terrifying. It all seemed so unlikely and absurd just a little over a year ago.

I'm not so afraid of him pushing first, rather his conduct in getting others to strike first - esp North Korea. He clearly doesn't understand that more threats and the like, plays exactly into the North Korean hand. Justifies their position to be hostile, to their people and military. But if he really ramps up the pressure military wise, sending warships and placing missiles pointed squarely at the DPRK (their official name), FatBoy might just be equally stupid and decides, before they strike we better hit S. Korea or Japan with a nuclear bomb.
Then Trump will have to respond and hey presto, we have a big crisis sending most economies tumbling.

On a lighter note, I posted the video to have a jolly good laugh

If you think the biggest crisis in the event of nuclear war will be 'economies tumbling' then I feel you're being untypically naive.

Come come RA, I did say big, not biggest. That would be reserved for the huge loss of human life in Korea and Japan. 2nd might see WWIII

Rather I was pointing the huge economic meltdown that would follow, affecting other nations, if there's no World War 3. I don't think Trump wants a nuclear war or WW3, he's a businessman still. But his handling of North Korea is not the best way so far I think.

Probably the way it read...and I did say 'if'.
Sadly it seems increasingly symptomatic of our times that we measure everything in terms of financial loss. I know you probably didn't mean it as it read, but the first thing you associated with global catastrophe was 'economies tumbling'.
For me that is what is wrong with so much in the world today and why cretins like Trump, Johnson, Hunt and the like get elected and find themselves in such positions of power....they know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

Yes rather sad, I was just reading a bit on Mandela today.

But without being selfish, I really can't afford a major catastrophe to ruin the economy. I need to work, I can't afford to retire yet. My kids and wife depend on me.

The top 1% will still be OK in their nuclear bunkers as they have most of the shares in the companies that make the armaments...... It will be you and I who are in bother.
