    Team vs Burnley

Always a case of what we think Rafa will play against what we'd like him to play.

Having said that, he's not doing too badly so my initial thought is 'the team I'd like to play...is the one Rafa would like to play'! So with that in mind, let's ignore the fact that I'd like to see Merino start in place of Perez or Mitro instead of Joselu or Mbemba instead of Manquillo.

    I think we'll see:

    ............................................Elliot .......................................

    Yedlin........................Lascelles.........Le jeune.............Manquillo

    Ritchie.....................Hayden............Shel vey............Atsu

    ................................Perez............. ..............

    ....................................Joselu........ ........

    Thoughts?

If Merino's fit and available, I think he'll start. Other than that I think you're right there Zip.

Personally, I'd like to see Clark instead of Lejeune, Mbemba instead of Manquillo and Mitro instead of Joselu. Ah, but what did that Jagger sing? You can't always get what you want. Here's hoping we get what we need.

Burnley striker Chris Wood a doubt with hamstring injury but Sam Vokes could recover from abs strain.
Jonathon Walters and Dean Marney still out.

I'm going to be a bit different. Rafa has been talking up his other strikers this week and i think one of them will start, i reckon Mitro as Rafa will use his size to unsettle their defence. Also think Merino will start as well, of the two it makes more sense for Shelvey to bench as Hayden does the dirty work.

    ............................................Elliot .......................................

    Yedlin........................Lascelles.........Le jeune.............Manquillo

    Ritchie.....................Hayden............Mern io............Atsu

    ................................Perez............. ..............

    ....................................Mitro........ .....

However, i equally won't be surprised to see Zip's team starting.

Can´t Clarke play at LB? Wouldn´t mind seeing him challenging Manquillo there.

He's played there this season and was s hi t..Why not play Mbemba there because he looked very composed and even better when going forward in the games that he played lb.

    Aye, good call.

Been harsh on Clark as he's played very well but, then, so have Lascelles and Lejeune. Good problem to have, though.

Can see us being unchanged again but Joselu really needs dropping and with Gayle's injury record its a huge risk to start him and we know Rafa wont give Mitrovic a start. Feel so sorry for Clark and Mbemba who played really well and then were dropped unfairly, Both are better players then Manquillo.

When Lejuene was assaulted by Kane, did not Clarke go to left back?
Whenever it was he looked like a fish oota water..
