    Sorry Jake Bugg...

But your choice of pre match music needs a re-think to put it politely!

I said it last week and I'll say it again. Get back to the "Black & White Army" goal music (i.e. White Stripes Seven Nation Army) which has become an anthem for us. I don't know what that din is that they're currently playing, but it's meaningless rubbish. The flags are a really good idea and would be even better with the right music!

Jake the Bug ........ No doubt a good lad giving the youngsters the stuff they want to hear (personally not my music) but listening yesterday to Elvis and the Big '0' being backed by the Royal Philharmonic orchestra clearly showed the vast difference in class and talent between the modern day singers and the giants of yesteryear. But good luck to our local lad anyway.

It doesn't show any difference in class and talent, it merely shows a difference in personal taste. I would rather listen to cats mating than listen to Elvis and the Big '0' being backed by the Royal Philharmonic orchestra, but each to their own.

You are the ultimate in patronisation, Serious. To you, the past is a land where they always did things better but this is clearly not the case.
Jake Bugg's first album was an absolute joy. I'm not yet into his new one. He is an original talent and doesn't see his mission as being out-Elvising Presley or having a bigger voice than Orbison.
I believe it was Oscar Wilde who mysteriously said 'All comparisons are odious' and this is what he meant. The same brilliant Oscar who, when asked about his criminal record when he was at Australian customs replied "O, do you still need one of those to get in here?"

I always thought you had no musical class

    “Goal music?”. Should be banned.

And that big O and the orchestra thing is a steaming pile of shyte. It’s for people who don’t like music.

No class whatsoever in my opinion.
