Nick Pope 6
Had very little to do in terms of making saves, but should probably have done better in dealing with Defoe’s cross-shot for the goal.

Phil Bardsley 9
A first Premier League start since March 18 but turned in a superb display. Combative defensively and got forward well when he could.

James Tarkowski 8
Marshalled Bournemouth’s attacking threats well, barely giving Callum Wilson a sniff of goal.

Ben Mee 8
Rock solid at the heart of Burnley’s defence and won countless headers when defending crosses and set-pieces.

Stephen Ward 7
Another solid display from Burnley’s Mr Reliable. Not overly worked but comfortable in what he had to do.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson 8
Growing in confidence at the moment. One piece of skill to break clear in the first half and set up Brady’s strike.

Jack Cork 8
Star man in the middle for Burnley. Got stuck in and well and stole possession in key areas on a couple of occasions.

Steven Defour 7
Great workrate throughout to put pressure on the ball, but his injury has to be a worry given his form this season.

Robbie Brady 9 (Man of the Match)
We’re starting to see the best of the £13million man. Built on his fine display against Arsenal with another excellent performance. Direct running to set-up Wood’s goal via a deflection and his own strike was a sensational right-footed strike.

Jeff Hendrick 6
Tried to link with Wood early on but drifted out of the game a touch second half as Burnley soaked up what little pressure there was.

Chris Wood 8
Back in the side and justified it with a goal. His runs to offer Burnley an out ball are always clever and he can hold the ball up as well.
