    Pardew / Carver

Couldn't believe it when I saw that Pardew has taken on Carver as his assistant at West Brom. Poor basturds don't know what's coming.

I have no doubt they will do a decent job there. Initially anyway.

I'd be worried though - if I were a Baggies fan - if they are to stay for the coming seasons. That's usually when Pardew tries to take his own ideas too far, and the players lose confidence.

I think he'll be gone by next November, knowing how that month usually takes the p!ss out of him.

I'm happy for Carver that he's got a job again and i usually want Baggies to do well yet i also really want Pardew to fail - conundrum.

I think they'll be fine this season though with him.

So far tonight results going our way. Shame we are relying on other teams so early in the season!

    Aye, so far they are.

Good that all 3 in the bottom aren't picking up wins.

A Rooney hat-trick as well i've just seen.
