    Never a doubt really.

We signed him for the season with a January clause but there was no reason for Forest to take him back as they have plenty of cover in that area. Good news that Yates will be staying the full season though.

Excellent news on both counts, and the best solution for all parties I think. Grant and Yates are getting regular first team football and maturing all the time.

Great news, they are both playing well & stand a good chance of making it in the game, strangely enough I think that Yates is closer the "finished article" than Grant!

I think Yates has a better chance of Championship football than Grant.

Agree with that, Yates shows serious maturity for someone so young and its fab news he is staying, Grant is a goal machine for us and excellent he is staying too, brilliant news in an already brilliant season

The trouble I have with Yates and Grant is I see them as Notts players , something they are obviously not. They both seem to love playing for us and give it their all, unlike some players we have had on loan in the past. Gonna be hard to take when they go back over the river.

I think they will both make it in the Championship in due course, and quite possibly in the Premier League one day. They appear to have the right attitude to go with their undoubted ability.
