It shouldn't be hard to change the law so we can ship these lowlife back to their own country. Shouldn't be but MPs make it so. They seem to forget why they are in Parliament once the first paycheck arrives,

Judges, MPs the so called royal family live on a different planet.

I'd sell the barsteward a rowing boat, and drop them in the Atlantic somewhere.
Perhaps it's my age, but all that I grew up with and recognised as being right and wrong, fair and just, appears to have 'gone out of the window'. What is it about today's society that rewards the wrongdoer and punishes the victim? I'm sick and tired of hearing purile excuses for these people, churned out by so called 'do gooders'. If we continue on the path that we are following I'm fearful for the future. We need to have a complete turnaround and get back to good old fashioned values.
Whatever the rights and wrongs (and there appears to be one hell of a lot wrong here) there's no getting away from the fact there'd be no pay out had they simply transferred him to a migration centre at the end of his sentence while awaiting the decision to deport.
Somebody somewhere has fkd up and now departments will be pointing the finger of blame at each other rather than taking responsibility for their own ineptitude.
Meanwhile we have two young rape victims in need of care and support.

Most of us wont even sniff that amount of money in our lifetimes. I know lots of folks who cant afford food at the end of the week, because they work hard and support themselves, just not getting a good wage. Then there's this.
