    I've Seen Worse Goalless Draws

My expectation levels weren't that high before kick off so this was a point gained rather than two dropped in my opinion .

The results from our rivals at the foot of the table also gave today's point an added boost .

What we needed to win the game was a worldy or something just to simply break for us , a mistake from Preston or a slice of luck , it wasn't to be .

Nice to see Isgrove back and full of energy and commitment , Gardner too had a decent game , Pinnock looks a player , terrific performance from the lad , mentions in despatches for Mallan and Yids .

In the grand scheme of things we've advanced a point further on from our relegation rivals , two clean sheets in the last three games shows signs of promise , if you don't concede you don't lose .

The squad does seem together , the ability may not be there but whilst you have a spirit and willing to fight we may just dodge this bullet yet if the right reinforcements are brought in next month to boot .

Agreed Animal. Thought Gardner was good today. Mallan too. Joe Williams a disappointment today.
Mallan for me over Moncur. Any day. Least the lad has a tackle in him. Pinnock definitely Correct MOM

Don't get me wrong Jules you could make just as many negatives as positives today , everytime I've seen Fryers he's terrible , maybe coincidence , maybe not , the lad Williams isn't great either .

The present group are not even in the same class as the last crop , not even close , it's very frustrating .

For a fixture I never look forward to it wasn't a bad game with plenty of positives as mentioned in other posts. The one negative I'd like to see addressed is players realizing they need to play the ball to feet or space instead of the high ball up to Bradshaw which he's never going to win even with a tennis racket.

Think I’d give Mallan a decent run. Bet he has a few goals in him too.

We most certainly need someone in the team who can play a tune , tight games like today are decided by that extra bit of quality and class .

Hopefully he will provide what we are lacking , it's hope rather than genuine belief though I might add in my opinion .

More than an eye on not making mistakes rather than risk a pass , all the hallmarks of a group lacking confidence mate .
