Do we really need another 32 year old who's been round the block? Come on Albion, show some ambition and courage. I know we haven't got a lot of cash so let's go for a youngster with a bit of 'fire in his belly' and something to prove. We have enough 'old heads', in fact we've got a squad full of them. That young Forest striker looked a bit useful yesterday, Brererton I think his name was. Caused the Arsenal defence no end of problems. That's the type of player we should be looking at.

Other clubs come after our top players. We go for out of favour players from other clubs. Rodriguez, Nyom, McClean, Burke, The pole, Evans, Gibbs, none of these were first team regulars.
Wonder why we struggle? All Pulis signings. Did he want them or were they forced on him?

You have not mentioned Evans purchased at 6 million and no doubt will be sold for 20 million or Hegazi who was purchased for less than Evans and most likely would command around 15/20 million now. Phillips also would go for far more than he was purchased and Gibbs is decent. Pulis made some good signings as well as signings that have not worked like any manager!

Who will want to come to play for Pardew with his track record and no win in eight in the league? People need to start waking up and blame the real culprits - the Board with zero ambition and that's why Pardew was appointed and that's why the usual dross will be touted to sign for us!!

In all fairness the Arsenal defence is not that good our own Phillips ran 'em ragged at will, but Brereton is only 18 and was impressive.

I was merely pointing out players we have signed that were not regulars at their previous clubs. Evans & Gibbs are both mentioned. As for Pulis: I asked the question, did he want them or were they forced on him?

Agreed, Pulis made some great signings, Evans is one of them and also Gibbs, not forgetting Hegazi too. Pulis got us solid but for whatever reason didnt kick on with the forward line, plus the fact that we have a severe weak mentality when it comes to seeing games out. You have to blame the players for that. Pardew found that out after 7 games.

To be honest Chris I have thought that , did TP want some of these players or was his arm twisted , I suppose we'll never know , I find it funny as well his No 2 just walked from us to retire in the sun with his family & all of a sudden he's back with his old mate @ Middlesbrough of all places strange ,
