    Jeremy Simpson ref for tomorrow

Had him for away win at Sunderland and televised Home game against Brum. Another ref who plays up in front of the cameras. Doesn't like to play the advantage rule takes forever to write down someone's name and penalised Clarke a lot against the Blue noses.

One day we'll have a ref who lets the game flow. Watch out for a spate of bookings as Grealish does his dying swan act.

I can see Villa adopting 'Football The Norwich Way' tonight, hoping for an end to end thriller, but Bruce is a canny man, he'll want to slow our gallop at every opportunity....

Another Clayton double would do very nicely..........

LST, when was the last time you saw a 'yellow' for a little push on the half-way line?

Standard of refereeing in the championship Chips has been worse than Division 1. Simpson was clueless and only he can explain that card and why he failed to book the Villa player for a shocking foul when he waved play on. I'm afraid being on the television so much is not helping us. Refs seem to want to play up to the cameras and end up looking like fools.

He seemed to realise he was on the tele after about half an hour and decided to get some screen time. How Hutton could commit 3 fouls, including an attempt to wrestle Clarke to the ground, and not get booked but get a clear warning that he had transgressed 3 times then Wilson was booked for his collisiion /trip on the halfway line, was beyonfd me.

Biggest surprise of the night though was that John Terry was not trying to ref the game for him, he was too busy, particularly at corners, grabbing and holding players in the area then sticking his arms in the air, like a big lass, to attract the ref's attention.
