    So billy,and the rest of my fellow whites..lets here what you have to say on the new thread that is gonna be called 'The Revs Inquest'.

    Hope you all enjoy the show

    From the Matchday thread, me trying to be positive - if I was being generous, Forshaw's first game for ages, passed him by a bit, he should get a lot better, Wiedwald had perhaps his most solid game for us, Pontus was his usual self, Shaughnessy did OK, Sacko didn't do anything really stupid (although should have passed to Cibiki at the end), Lasogga put a lot of effort in. Not sure I can think of much else though - except of course we didn't lose.

    Wasn't a great deal to be positive about tbh. My observation was that not being able to retain any meaningful possession in the final 3rd really kept us on the back foot all match.

    Defensive reshuffle didn't help either but still I can't remember us creating 1 quality chance in the whole match.

    Putting this down as a point gained rather than 2 pts lost for the following reasons.

    * A lot of changes to the team
    * Defensive reshuffle
    * No real game changers on the bench ( never mind the pitch)
    * Toothless upfront

    p.s Totally unimpressed with Roofe tonight, Lassogga tried hard but wasnt that much better

    We are just not very good at the minute. They played better when they were strangers at the start of the season. Dosent look like we have gelled anywhere on the pitch. Who to blame??
    I want us to at least stay in touch of the playoffs so as to give us some hope towards the end of the season, but im fearing mid table obscurity.
    Perhaps the 2 new signings plus maybe another one and Saize comming back will spur us on. Dunno.
    Inquest result is open verdict.

    With no ayling cooper Pennington Phillips okane Saiz ekuban and then no shaughnessy part way through the first half, that amount of unavailability would effect any squad in the country, certainly all in the championship, to come out of that with an away point isn't terrible. Just wait for the squad to be fully available again (bar ayling) and we will be fine

    Watched the game on line..wasn't pretty was it?

    Still only 4 points off 6th spot..and we finished the game with 11 men

    The Revs Verdict - 90 minutes of my life I will never get back but at least I had my mate Jack Daniels by my side

    Amazing that we are only 6 off from playoffs. Just prolonging the agony of hope. Kind of like the tease in school that always strung you along for another date and wasted evening.

    Next year we'll still be in the championship. Hope we use the time to season the senior side a bit and get a couple of the U-23's. Get some stability and momentum going into next year.

    Felix and Jannson looked solid at least.

    Looks like we got chumped on the forshaw deal. Nice of the team to try but the January window is a cruel time to sign anyone.
