    Dwight Gayle a doubt...

According to the Liverpool echo, he's a doubt for the game next week.

im sure rafa the great tactician and master of all things footy related will have a master plan

probaba;ly slapping his daughter round the head this very moment and wishing he hadnt sent mitro out on loan
to get some of ashlys money back

i have a sneaky feeling slimagony will be back

Which is why he was subbed! He could only get Slimani in provided somebody went out, ie Mitro, Ashleys masterplan, nowt to do with Rafa.

    Rafa's fault not Ashley's.

Well of all the games to miss this might be the best one where we are unlikely to have much of a chance?

Although flip side of that, if we do have a chance it'll be on the break and he's best for that.

Also a shame because his confidence will be up.

I think we have more chance at set pieces than we do on the counter against Liverpool. I'm terrified of what they'll do to us if we pile bodies forward trying to hit them on the counter. I think they might be an even better attacking unit than City. Looking forward to the game in a strange way though - it'll be a real tactical battle to see if we can frustrate them, break things up in midfield before they get going etc. Anything we get from this will be a bonus, but we definitely need to avoid a hammering just for morale after the last game.

The only way to keep the score down is Rafa's 10 buses tactic.

If we take it to them, they'll rip us a new as'shole. We need to defend for our lives and try to catch them making a defensive boo-boo in the 2nd half. The question is how long we can keep it at 1-0. When it becomes 2-0, I'm afraid the contest is over and the solitary point we need to chase is gone.

I'll take a draw right now.

    Aye, agreed Trin.

I'd take a point now - sadly can't see that happening though.

If Rafa parks every player behind the ball and we are just used as target practise but we come away with a point i'll be happy as larry.
