    Fir Park - green oasis

Motherwell's ground staff have worked magic and are preparing the stadium ahead of Sunday's cup tie with Hearts. Volunteers are sought to clear the surrounds. - External Link

A very big 'Hat's Off' to all concerned who've given us a great game to look forward to. The grounds-man, his staff, and all the folks I saw shovelling, brushing and spreading today deserve much respect. I just hope us fans, and the players, put in the same effort and commitment on Sunday. If we do, it could be a right good day! #COYW

See the Sheepherders manager was complaining about the state of their pitch? against Killie. Just hope they don’t try to persuade our head groundsman to move north,as he has done an unbelievable job for us regarding the Fir Park playing surface in the last couple of years. Fantastic work done by him and his staff, volunteers and club staff to get the pitch and stadium surrounds ready for today’s game
