His son is pretty decen striker as well in lower leagues.
Plays for Wigan at minute i think, should be in championship with them next season.

Just been listening to him on 5Live.
He was some striker for us, like. That season with Beardsley he looked like he would score or at least have a decent effort every time he got the ball. Even though he says Man u made him a better all-round player, I still think we saw the best of him as an out and out striker. Lethal, he was.
Mind, a couple of seasons after he left, he was walking round round the Wembley pitch singing the 'cheer up Kevin Keegan' song-what a little shite. Sad bastards weren't even playing us.
Anyway. There you go.![]()

Wonder if there'll be another 'Cole', as in-a 2nd tier striker who becomes an instant success (to the extent that Cole did).
Would probably have to be a similar scenario, i.e. gets promoted or is bought by a newly promoted team.
Exactly, man. Enjoy the win, don't act like a cunt. Simple.
That season 93/94 was the best one imo. New to the Premiership, the shyte times still in memory and tearing teams apart. And as for sheer excitement and goal poaching I think Cole is the best we have had. The excitement going to the match and in the City on a Saturday night especially in the Bigg Market will NEVER be bettered. If I had to choose Cole would be my favourite, loved the t-shirts 'lean mean goal machine' and the picture of him with his right arm aloft. Superb times.
Aye, that first season back, man...
Nothing was expected of us and we hit it like a fucking train!
It will always be the Leicester 7-1
The ground was at 1 that day
Two open ends but the noise we made with the Andy Cole song
25 frickin years man
One club
Mebbe Villa when he broke the record but that day in May 93
I hope my son has a day like it
