Burnley to reach 57 points at season's end

My predictions are usually very poor but this one seems about right.

Am I being negative, positive are on track?

    Any thoughts?

I Would hope for more than 8 points from 6 games now Wood is back and with 4 Home games.

    Saturday 14 April 2018. Burnley 15:00 Leicester 3
They ave won 2 of their last 5 and got 8 points

    Thursday 19 April 2018 Burnley 19:45 Chelsea 3
They have won 1 of their last 5 and 4 points

    Sunday 22 April 2018. Stoke 13:30 Burnley 3
Won 0 of last 5 for one point

    Saturday 28 April 2018 Burnley 15:00 Brighton 3
Won 2 of last 5 for 7 points

    Saturday 5 May 2018 Arsenal 15:00 Burnley 1
    Won 3 for 9 points

    Sunday 13 May 2018 Burnley 15:00 Bournemouth 3
    Won 1 for 6 points

That would be 64 for me.

If we continue to defend in organised numbers, press the ball, win the second ball, be alert at set pieces at both ends of the park and then catch the opposition on the break, 64 points will be about right.

No surprise here either, Sean Dyche's Burnley have been doing it more or less all season!

i really hope you are both right but 5 wins and a draw from our last six games is a big ask.
I reckon we would have a good shout for fifth place if we got them.

Can anyone answer this? If we finish fifth and Liverpool won the Champs League, would we qualify for the Champs league next season? I reckon we would! (IF Arsenal don't win the Europa league).

It is you and OC who are suggesting we could end up on 64 points BT!

If we do, we could well be fifth.

If Liverpool win the Champs League then England would have five teams in the Champs League next season, City, United, Spurs, Liverpool and Burnley!

UNLESS Arsenal win the Europa League, in which case they would take our place. But, we would go directly into the group stages of the Europa League if they did (unless Soton, or Chelsea won the FA Cup!!)

    Bloody hell, eh?

Leicester, Chelsea, Arsenal and Bournemouth are serious PL teams, any points from those games will be hard won, Stoke will be fighting for their PL lives, and Brighton are always difficult to play against, always a pain in the arse. Blueheeler's 8 points seems about right to me.

We are on a roll Alf and just at the right time. Word coming out of Gawthorpe is that the lads want a European adventure and are pretty determined to have one too!

I tried to generate some interest in a 'End of Season' points prediction around 2 months ago but there didn't seem to be any interest. No with only a few games left it should be a little easier. The two most important games are the two 6 pointers against Leicester and Arsenal.
