    Not at all surprised.

More knife crimes and the few police we have are prevented from doing stop and search because of its supposed bias towards certain members of society.

You're absolutely spot on Grist. Membership of the Bullingdon Club should not mean immunity from the law.

The fact that police resources are cut to the bone has to be factored in .

A guy on our other message board was assaulted badly on friday night in town and his phone and wallet taken , they even nicked the pizza he was carrying home to eat , police told him to ring a number and report it .

I notice Sheffield too is having a wave of these kind of crimes .

These kids today carrying knifes is very worrying , in 10 years time it will move on to guns if it hasn't already in many cases .

The drug trade is often at the heart of it , these kids look at the money older kids are making and it gives them and easy way out when they know life working honesty will be tough , it's flawed of course but that's how they see it .

Very difficult to see things improving and it's highly likely to get much worse on our streets .

Kids in gangs from ethnic backgrounds in poor areas of our major towns and city's killing each other .

Will anyone actually care in the decades to come ?

I say this from looking across the pond at America where it just seems on impression's to be just the way it is .
