    Cardiff promoted

Big day in Cardiff yesterday.Full house and great atmosphere. Some of the tension was taken out of the game because of the score news that was coming out of Birmingham. However,I am personally delighted because I can now watch Burnley away only 4 miles from my house.

Just hope Swansea stay up but that is definitely a minority view round here.

Controversial club’ controversial foul mouthed manager and arrogant fans. Right now 21 clubs in the championship are over the moon they won’t be playing them at all next season. By the same token, soon ,19 clubs in the Premiership are looking at 6 points off them next season.
Vincent Tan has apparently gone on record saying he wants to copy Burnley and what they’ve achieved. Show him a map of Great Britain and I bet he couldn’t tell you where Burnley actually is. Just as when he appointed Warnock he probably had never heard of him until then.
He has obviously done a decent job but i’d Like him to tell me how they will reach 40 Pts next season especially as he is now out of his depth. As proved in the past. It’s going to be a long summer for me working alongside some of their fans. All the same, bring it on , I can’t wait for next season to start.

Was there some mess up in Cardiff's game malwayne ? I'm sure I heard that a throw in was taken 3 yards infield because the sun hitting the cover of one of the stands was showing a line of shade that the thrower thought was the line.

alto --if you don't object, I will answer your question.
It was purely a trick of the light on some photos. The player took the throw from the correct place, however, some photographs show the top of the advertising boards round the pitch and they appear like a white line so it looks as though the throw is taken about 10 yards inside the pitch.
This was discussed at length on a referees' forum but the concensus was that there was nothing wrong at all

I don’t know. Haven’t heard anything but i’ll Try to get some more info. Since Xmas I wanted Fulham to get up instead and they almost did it. Strangely enough I don’t fancy them in the play offs but they are a good footballing team. You cannot fault Warnock’s achievement this season but I can’t stand him. There is also going to be a promotion open top bus tour here next Sunday- for finishing second. I am not looking forward to the Clarets game here next season. I will go for one reason only ! My wife says I should support my hometown club and doesn’t understand why I dislike the club so much. She just doesn’t understand the way it is when you’ve been influenced at 8 years of age. 56 years later my allegiance is unmoved. I should really have been born English and on the other side of the Severn Bridge.!!!

Wanted Fulham to go up malwayne as its only up the road from me and I've had a few good trips up there.

I wanted Fulham to go up too, however, we now have to wait and see what happens in the play-offs.
I have always been a bot dubious about Cardiff because of their use of the Welsh FA in previous times.
Historically, that part of Wales has not been a happy hunting ground for the Clarets -- would be good to see a change of fortune!

Cardiff & Huddersfield to drop next season IMO. And Derby are certs if they win play-offs.

    I think we'll finish 10th-15th.
