However, since we're guessing. . . It could be anybody. A prem player gives us as minimum 500 to choose from

Normally I would agree, but this could be an opportunity, or not, to shed some light on a taboo subject in football. Justin Fashanu was bullied and eventually got depressed and killed himself because he was never accepted in the world of football. All for being gay.

Would be mint if whoever it was felt able to come out.

One of the last big taboos-admitting to being a gay footballer. Fucking ridiculous that a player can't be who they are without fear of ridicule and abuse.

Was listening to the Colin Murray 'At home with...' interviews this evening and he had Nigel Owens on, the Welsh rugby ref and it was riveting...the idea that, having taken some pills, this fella came within 20 minutes of dying because of the guilt he felt about being gay and the worry of coming out....it's insane that it's even an issue, man.

Is it anyone else's business? No, is it shite.

I’ve got nothing against gays one of my best mates is gay.
The saddest thing is that people can’t be open and have to hide things like their ***uality away.

I’m still interested to know who it is though.

That last line wasn't directed at you, Tooslo...I meant in terms of people's ***uality.
