Some of the best fans I’ve ever met.

Got to say after 60yrs a miller the Shrewsbury fans I met in St Albans late Sunday night were a credit to their club.Saw a lot of bad things in the 70s regards to opposition fans but the shrews fans were a delight.

Where were you in Snolbans Lolm? Had most of my childhood there, though never warmed to it and it never felt like home (compared to a small town outside of Watford where I first lived haha). Lower Red Lion is a cracking pub though

My cousin from Canada commented that Shrewsbury sounds like a place where Hobbits come from

The Shrews fans were good in the Autoglass final in 1996 too.
By the way, I've been in the Lower Red Lion - nice pub, good beer

A really nice Shrews fan came up to us after the game outside the stadium and congratulated us and wished us all the best.

He also already knew about Husrt going to Ipswich.
