    League Cup draw

Will take place on Friday, in Vietnam .... ?

EFL chief executive Shaun Harvey said they wanted to "promote the competition internationally" alongside the competition's Thai sponsor.

Maybe he doesn't realise that not all of SE Asia is one country?

    But seriously, why?

Trying to promote a competition worldwide that isn't even getting much fan support in England. Or maybe its all about selling more TV rights?

Bizarre really, maybe the League Cup should be for EFL teams only and then it would have an identity again.

It’s always about money (not that they will admit that)

It’s Carabao Cup , Thai sponsors so I suppose what they want they get.

Let’s see if they can **** draw up like last time

    I’ll take whoever at home

A nice jolly for all the “ executives”, and I’m sure it just won’t be a couple of them. 3 going to do the draw, and lots watching them, plus all the media circus...

It's definitely about selling more TV rights, football is such a huge export.

I was actually in Vietnam during our 2014 playoff semi final games.

Me and my friend went out in Hanoi for a night out, and came back to our hotel room in the early hours... turned on the TV which had around 50 channels. Flicked through and to my absoloute shock and delight discovered they were showing the Preston game!

One of the most surreal experiences watching the Millers with Vietnamese commentary.
