I suspect the reason we haven't been able to sell is that he is struggling to get over the groin "procedure" he underwent in the closed season.

Even if say, we actually bought him at a price Derby agrees > 10 million at least, how much can we pay him?
Maximum would be slightly above Grabban's, but then surely he can get closer to over 50k at any 1 of those Prem clubs.
So why would he come?
I however disagree with Es***, I think he's a great signing and would be very welcome but I can't see how we can afford him, fees and salary wise. And then, would he want to? He has as much chance staying put playing in the Prem either way, and statistically, a better chance if you take Derby's record of the last 5 seasons. (3 playoffs).
