    Just back.....

Ay up. Just back. Couldn't be fecked driving all the way up to Aberdeen so stopped by mithers in Edinburgh and got her to stick the kettle on.

Nice enough folk at Burnley, they talk funny and have large faces.

Highly enjoyable day/night yesterday and every dandy that travelled should be proud of themselves, up there with Groningen away for me it was brilliant. Memory of the game is a bit shaky, didn't really think we were going to get the equaliser but after it I really thought we were going to nab the tie.

There were a few moments though when the harsh reality came back and it was plain to see we weren't quite cutting it. First, Shinnie is wasting too many half decent opportunities. He manages to find himself hovering around the edge of the box with a bit of time and space and he seems to sky it way too much. I don't think it's too much to ask for a bit more composure from our captain.

Second, when Cosgrove went off and May came on I knew we were done. Unfortunately as has been said before he just isn't cutting it. This needs to be addressed.

I'm not on facebook or anything so if anyone has any footage of the fans last night any chance you can put it up here?

P.S not heard much from afc1903mad. I remember he said he was in the back row and wonder if that was him who spent the entire match with his head atween his knees out for the count

Doubt that would be him. He would’ve been doing a manual headcount of the attendance, while simultaneously working out the accumulated loyalty point total of the away end & the pass completion percentages

That was maybe what tired him out although that wouldn't explain the funny coloured vomit that was being produced after the final whistle.

Personally I didn’t think Cosgrove offered that much last night either,he wasn’t involved in any of the few decent chances we had and never looked like he was going to score.

Shinnie,Ferguson,McGinn and GMS either created or had the chances,if McGinn and GMS are going to be putting crosses into the box he should be able to get on at least one of them even Stockley managed that on the odd occasion.

If only we had a goal scorer in the squad he would score at least 20 goals with those 2 on the wings.

The point about Shinnie us intriguing.
He does seem to be finding himself in more and more advanced positions where he doesn't really seem to have the composure to play the right ball.
Is this, the more advanced role, tactical or just a byproduct of our skipper's seemingly limitless energy?

Back row of the middle section, behind the goals.
    Just back now.

Was the boy in the back row wearing a blue t-shirt and specs.
If so I know him and was pretty geeshed before the game, always manages to get in though.

    Good effort by the team.
Get loosened off and let’s see the same effort on Sunday, but the team and the fans.

The chance he had that he skied it was a result of him hitting it with his left as opposed to letting it come across his body and driving it in with his right.

Wouldn’t have complained if he had curled it into the postage stamp mind you.

Anyway, off to find a clip of Lewis’s cracker.
