    Spurs petition

A petition has been raised to get points deducted from Spurs for not getting their ground ready in time for games that they had promised.

Breaking rules or not I couldn't be vindictive enough to sign the petition.

Spurs have built that stadium to serve them for the next several decades.

John hall tried to do the same with us.

Being a few weeks late in finishing is a pain in the hoop for some, but in the bigger picture, who cares?

Safety has to be the priority, it takes as long as it takes.

    Really?

How sad. Arsenal fans, no doubt. Just makes them look pathetic.

I doubt the idelay is anything to with Spurs.

More probably to do with the hot weather, lazy @rsed builders, building companies and suppliers not meeting target dates.

Bet a few Arsenal and Chelsea sign it though.

No Spurs follower, but find this petty and pedantic. Bleating on talksport about it today, not Spurs fault IMO, but they shouldn't have promised it would be done. The Spurs fans phoning in complaing sounded like spoilt basas - its going to be a world class stadium FFS and cant be opened until its deemed safe.

I'm not interested in whether Tottenham get points deducted. I'm sure nobody would give a stuff if it was us.

What rankles with me much more is the massive potential boost Tottenham have been given in terms of the regular use of Wembley stadium as a home stadium...and should they reach a cup final, they will be at home and have a massive advantage in one respect.

Now they get to have a bit more time doing it again.

They were saying in the paper at the weekend it is likely to be the new year before it’s ready. Watch us be their first home game (2 Feb currently). It’d be lush to p1ss on their party.
