Im thinking of maybe attending this:
A public meeting has been called, inviting all supporters "to discuss the current ownership of Newcastle United" on Wednesday 5th September.
The venue will be The Labour Club at 11 Leazes Park Road, NE1 4PF 7pm. Free entry to all.

I went to the one at the Leazes club when the club proposed moving us from the Milburn when the extension was built. Ended up attending the court case as well. Freddie Fletcher (RIP) was bricking it when giving evidence. They had to fill his glass with water 4 times from what I remember. Every other word seemed like ‘folks.’ However, I had written to the club complaining about their proposals and with great respect to him he actually rang me at work to discuss it. I honestly nearly fell off my chair and it took a bit of time to realise it was actually him (i thought it was a joke and my pal had set me up with his dad, who was scottish ringing). You wouldn’t get these Cnuts even reading a letter never mind thinking about picking up a phone.
