    Liverpool appoint throw -in coach

When I was about 8 years old in primary school learning how to play the beautiful game I was told how to take a throw-in, You hold the ball with two hands behind your head and stand behind the white line. The idea is to throw the ball to one of the players in the same colour shirt as you ,in the correct way, without crossing the white line.
Why do you need to pay someone an extortionate amount of money to tell you what a child can do ? Have I got it wrong here ?

We don’t have much of a clue at throw ins, no one makes runs, the ball goes back to the thrower and pressurising the thrower leads to silly passes like Matts v Watford.
The way we are playing we also need one for throwing in the towel!

On a serious note, the amount of possession we continually concede because of poor throw-ins is a problem that needs addressing.

Best ask Klippity to send the throw-in expert over here for a hour or two.
