    Think you're right Roma
My dad decided to take me for the day on the 2nd Saturday[ about 1955 on his motorbike & sidecar to see if we could see my brother & his family who had gone a week earlier
We'd no idea where they were staying & as we rode along the seafront looking for a place to pull in a car pulled out leaving a parking space which we duly occupied [somewhere near Central pier] Our intentionwas to stroll along the prom hoping we might see them [some chance eh?] the beach was packed with not one spare foot in sight but as we stood on the prom looking down onto the beach ,there to our amazement was my brother & his family less chance of finding them than Lobby Lud
As it was lunchtime we all went to the nearest fish restaurant & queued for ages for a table for the best fish & chips on a plate with
tea bread & butter. Posh eh? You might guess there on the next table was our next door neighbour Think they'd told mi dad they were going to Torquay [which as a lad I thought was abroad]
    Happy days

Bloody hell Roma had you stepped back into a time warp
Bantams only 125cc wouldn't have got home yet on one of them
Think Post Office used them a lot with"chair" for carrying post
