O/T ... best ever leaving presents!

On another thread about winter food, Henderson’s relish was mentioned amd it reminded me of a story....
About 30+ years ago, I worked in old Supermarket in Atkinson’s, ont moor.
Lad Int warehouse left, and ordered a full pallet board of Henderson’s relish as a leaving Present......TINY BOTTLES!!!! LOADS OF IT. if it hadn’t have gone out of date I bet we’d have still have been selling it now!.......
    His name was S.... Henderson.........
    Nice touch......
What parting shots have you seen in your lines of work..

Same shop..... , Id just arrived at this shop, and as usual ( in them days) you sat round a “Management table” for lunch ( circa 1980, but still in the 1950’s as regards that type of thing....) It’s my first day andI arrived early for lunch, to be sat with the Manager, and me.
Not much talking, as I’m only a young un, and he’s an old hand, and this kid walks up with a plate in his hand..... puts the plate on the table, pushes the managers lunch to one side with his plate, ....... and on the plate was an envelope.......

Best way ever of handing his notice in I’ve ever seen!!!

You lot must have loads of work place stories......... Go on
