There shouldn't be any meltdown when the punters realise that Ticketmaster matches the clubs aspirations and will take us to the next level!!

Unfortunately, our most likely next level at the moment is the Conference!

One minor change for those who purchase tickets online or by telephone will be the implementation of a 60p per ticket booking fee (except for under 12s' tickets), the proceeds from which will go towards covering the costs associated with the new system.

“The decision to reintroduce booking fees was not one we took lightly but, having canvassed supporter opinion on social media, it was evident that the majority were happy to pay a little extra for an enhanced service.

    "Enhanced service" ?
I log on to the current system, I buy my ticket.

Which bit of that is enhanced?

Please don't remove the 5 second delay where it says "Please wait while we check availability". That always makes me chuckle.

Correct me if I'm wrong but haven't we had several threads on this board over the last couple of seasons bemoaning the Medoc system? I don't see a problem with us replacing it with Ticketmaster and I personally don't begrudge paying a 60p booking fee whenever I want to buy a ticket online, if it saves me tramping down to the ticket office. Or is this just another opportunity for you grouches to have a moan about something else?

It's not a moan 60YAP, more an observation. As you will guess from the Monica, I can't collect from the ticket office, so am reliant on whichever system the club chooses to use. It's the spin word "Enhanced" that caught my eye. I'll be at Barnsley tomorrow, and will be looking in anticipation for an enhanced performance.

I also look forward to when "Please wait while we check availability" returns "Sorry... SOLD OUT"

It's going to be quicker when there are big crowds.

Unless we get a good cup draw, we need to quickly improve performances and league position to get an advantage in that scenario!
