    Husin

Clearly not getting close to the match day squad currently and yet he seemed to gain Kewell's favour initially. I think he is quite a talent and I hope that his competitiveness can be sharpened enough to justify a return to the squad. Get him fitter and muscled up!

He's been here 10 months, rarely impressed under 2 different manager so probably isn't up to it

I don't think he's the kind of player that's going to get built and I actually don't think he needs to. I have been a big fan of his from the start as I think he's the kind of player that can keep the ball, ghost away from other players in tight spots and a really good passer, the issue has been on his opportunities this season he hasn't been doing that consistently. I thought he was going to be an understudy for Vaughan this season i.e. coming on to replace him after 70 mins and replacing him where games stacked up, but that's gone badly wrong in Vaughan can't get in and TBF Alexandra has made that 3 man centre midfield spot his own at the moment.

I do fear him as I think there's a real talent in there but Kewell obviously isn't seeing enough in games or training to convince him otherwise.

I was initially impressed by Husin, because he's definitely got more technical ability than most League 2 players. His problem is that he doesn't really put that ability to any creative use. He's far too lightweight to be a central midfield player, I just can't see where he can fit in and make a positive contribution to the team.

He'd be better off in the role Allessandra has (the 10) but I can't see him holding the ball and taking on a player to create himself some space like Lewis does a few times a game. He does have a good shot on him and can pick out a pass occasionally though... Playing him as a central midfielder in a 2 will be about as succesful as when Moniz tried it with Graham Burke (who is now a striker)

Not for me. Too lightweight and gives the ball away farrr too easily. Prob one that will be shipped out asap.

Would rather ship Vaughan out than Husin tbh, at least he has time to improve. Vaughan needs to hang em up.

Ship them both for me. League 2 midfielders need to be more than a bit of a passer. Let’s assume Notts have 50% possession, the other 50% is when this pair are completely ineffective. This simply can not happen in this League.

Husin has ability, but he would need to add a hell of a lot more aggression and defensive nous to his game to become a success for us. I thought it was a very odd signing by a manager who was so rigidly committed to a 4-4-2 system, because Husin just doesn't offer enough to play in that formation. You need two beasts in the middle of the park to make that work in League Two (a la Bishop and Ravenhill) and Noor Husin certainly doesn't fit that description. As another poster says above, he's probably more suited to the Alessandra role in a three-man midfield, but he doesn't offer as big a goal threat as Lewis. We've got no shortage of midfielders, but too many of the wrong type, which is one of the reasons we've looked so open to conceding goals this season.

Replacing Yates with Husin, who couldn’t have been more different in January, was the first real warning sign of where things would go wrong IMO. A sign of the obsession to change what was a winning formula/style and go easier on the eye, driven by the owner.
