    Is it Totally Co- incidental?

it appears Totally Co-incidental or does it?
that no one had the slightest interest in acquiring Notts County for decades until ,
the waterside development plan was published.
if you remember the Post published the plan by a consultancy company called EDAW (whatever happened to them?) back in may 2000, which featured on the front page of The Post, all very nice but with Notts Countys ground eliminated, just a rectangular open space of a much smaller in size.
'Oh its only one of many options on the table!', came the reply.
then it all started, numerous bids enter Scardino and co. Albert Scardino had meetings with the council on future of the scheme but little or no developments ensued at the time ,
only bankruptcy and administration followed for Notts county.
then later, the recession followed and no progress with the development plan,
then Fraudster and fat Cnut Russel King and Munto, appeared on the set, with their bag of sweeties,
    and conned us
then it went all quiet when the city council took over the lease on the ground. fending off chancers and shysters.
then all this Shyt kicks off with a complete turn around in form and a disastrous future
co incidentally in the second half of last year, you will never guess what? the waterside development plan was published, as if it was a new idea, in the Post.
Groundhog day?, or is something fishy going off ?, or as i first mentioned Is it Totally Co- incidental?

Oyster Band Lyrics .( this what its feel like to me being a Notts County fan)

There will always be a Happy hour for those with money jobs and Power,
But who never realize the hurt, to those of us they treat like dirt.

Yebbut, we, (Haydn Green's estate) own the lease. And it runs for about a zillion more years. Short of us dropping into Confo North, or giving up the ground willingly, there ain't no shifting us. Tis a bargaining chip of sorts, if someone wanted to use the land.

Yes Hayden Green's estate own the lease but who do you think they lease it off? He didn't buy the freehold. The City Council own the land.

I ain't disputing this, gumpy. I was pointing out feeb's error. The lease Haydn Green agreed with the council was for 150 years.

Thing is us dropping into the conference north does not look like an impossibility does it.

I don't think American businessmen are falling over themselves to build a few flats in the Meadows.
