am surprised - normally that would have taken many meetings to recover the situation - much shuffling of papers - a stamp from here a stamp from there - arm flailing face pulling and then....arrange a time....time and time again....so by all accounts - was relatively painless !

You can only assume they knew there were no Taliban in that area, they would have been sitting ducks but they all seemed quite relaxed about the situation, one or two even finding it amusing.
