    Car parking, at footy matches

Hey Jules, I especially wanted to ask you this..
There was a Ch5 program on Tuesday night this week (from 8pm till 9pm, and it was when were playing away at Oxford of course!).

Apparently the McAlpine stadium there in Hudds doesnt have great parking, and fans just park up on the streets and this is causing a real problem with the local residents. I can see this argument both ways to be honest, but I did feel sorry for the housewives on that show, as they were constantly having a go at ignorant car parkers who didnt think they were doing anything wrong etc.

Thats one of the good things about Oakwell for me, the parking is there right next to the ground and theres also parking nearby in the town.

Apart from this new three hour business which means I have to park even further away while I do a bit of shopping then I get to walk through a half empty car park.

We'd have trouble if we needed a fire engine on a Sunday morning as all the 4x4s park near us while their little darlings do rugby practice so I can understand how frustrating to must be to live near a big stadium.

Im a car driver Linz, so I can see the difficulties in trying to park in a busy area on a footy match day. Especially where street parking is the only option.
