Having lived in Rotherham for 53 years today was the first time I’ve visited this place ,,,,,,,,wow ....why isn’t this place advertised more ???? I was gob smacked and stunned ,what a place ,lovely walk seen a herd of deer 🦌 ..the house is amazing ..........why it isn’t advertised more is beyond me .....love the place

Had an urgent delivery there about 3 years ago to a film crew who filming a drama there, never did find out what program it was, anyone know?

Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell was filmed there a few years ago.
Some of the film sets have been left in place so in some rooms it's difficult to see what's fake and what's been restored
The internal tours were Fascinating although I'm not sure they are still doing them
