What makes it all the worse is that Jenkins was already scheduled to be in China over the weekend so clearly something was happening regarding BD's future prior to Saturday's debacle.

Cash is usually at the root of all Albion’s dithering and indecision 123. Why o why do these issues not get hammered out and sorted before we act as they would when any other employee moves company?

What a surprise! As you say 123, the only thing that will hold the appointment up will be the MONEY. In comparison to many other deals the club have been involved in, £2 million isn't a great deal.
