They must be waiting for offers made to players to be responded to before announcing MT.
Xe've seen it all too often when we think we're keeping a player only for them to not sign or decide otherwise.
My view is that if they haven't decided yet after being made an offer then off they go with thanks for your contributions.

Could be right but still they should put it the list with ‘been offered new deal’ then when the player accepts it then a new piece of news appears
